(MADISON IN) (8/26/2021) – Fairfield Inn & Suites – Madison IN has named Victoria Perry, General Manager of its 85-room hotel located at 108 St Michaels Ave 47250.
In her new role, Perry will oversee the overall operations of the hotel. Victoria’s focus will be to lead the team on the Key Metrics that form the pillars of success at Dora Hospitality. Proper staffing level and employee engagement, superior guest satisfaction through high end service and product quality, all while maximizing profitability.
“I look forward to working at such a remarkable hotel in Madison,” said Perry. “I’ve lived in Madison my whole life and I always dreamed of the day I would become a GM, especially at the Cotton Mill, which has always held a special place in my heart. As the hotel’s new general manager, I hope to expand on the hotels reputation in town as a great place for guests to stay and employees to work.”
With several years in different markets throughout Indiana, Perry most recently served as Operations Manager of the Fairfield where she helped the previous GM open the brand-new hotel. Perry was integral in helping to staff the property, training all employees on Marriott systems, and setting up all guestrooms. “As soon as we knew there was an opening for General Manager, we knew exactly who to go to for the leadership position of the hotel,” said Vincent Dora President of Dora Hospitality. “Victoria has a passion for hospitality, and she knows everyone in Madison. I couldn’t imagine a better person for the job,” said Dora.
Perry began her hospitality career in the downtown market in Indianapolis, IN on the Canal. During her stint in Indianapolis, she was quickly promoted into multiple leadership roles which greatly prepared her for taking on the General Manager role. Upon moving back to Madison, Victoria spent time as the Executive Director for Madison Main Street and was integral in getting the Cotton Mill project off the ground.
